We are looking for friendly and reliable Reception Volunteers to support our services by providing a warm and welcoming first point of contact. Volunteers will assist with greeting visitors signposting individuals to services answering basic enquiries and helping to create a positive and supportive environment. This is a great opportunity to build confidence gain experience in a reception or support setting and make a meaningful contribution to the community.
Successful applicants will be required to attend training in June which will prepare volunteers for the role and ensure they feel confident and supported.
Responsibilities
Volunteers contribute to Change Grow Live in a variety of ways. From Admin Volunteers to Service User Reps from Peer Mentors to Healthcare Support Volunteers from Independent Visitors to Community Mentors each volunteer brings a unique set of skills and talents. We are incredibly grateful for all that volunteers do to support our service users.
If there isnt a specific volunteering role listed for the service in your area or have a skill you would like to donate to us you can use this listing to express your interest.
Most of our volunteer opportunities dont need any special qualifications. Well make sure you get all the training and support you need. All we ask is that youre kind open-minded and passionate about supporting people.
Everyone is welcome at Change Grow Live. As a volunteer you will be treated with respect and accepted for who you are. You dont need to have personal experience of drug and alcohol recovery to get involved.
