En tant quApprenti(e) Ingénieur Digital vous serez au cœur de notre transformation technologique. Votre rôle sera double : consolider nos socles applicatifs en Python et propulser nos capacités danalyse de données textuelles grâce à lIntelligence Artificielle.

1. Développement & Engineering Python

• Maîtrise de lexistant : Sapproprier nos outils et architectures actuels à travers le développement et la maintenance dapplications Python concrètes.
• Software Craftsmanship : Participer à lamélioration continue du code et proposer des évolutions darchitectures pour rendre nos outils plus robustes et scalable.
• UX-Focus : Collaborer à la conception dinterfaces intuitives pour que nos outils soient adoptés aux les utilisateurs métiers.

2. R&D en Intelligence Artificielle (NLP & GenAI)

Vous serez notre éclaireur sur les technologies de traitement du langage pour transformer lanalyse de nos documents volumineux (contrats normes spécifications) :

• Architecture de données : Mettre en place des pipelines de traitement de texte (cleaning chunking stratégique) et transformer linformation textuelle en données exploitables (embeddings vectorisation).
• Implémentation de solutions LLM : Explorer et déployer des architectures modernes comme le RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pour permettre linterrogation intelligente de nos bases documentaires.
• Prompt Engineering : Concevoir et optimiser les interactions avec les modèles de langage pour garantir la précision et la pertinence des réponses extraites.
• Expérimentation (PoC) : Tester différents modèles (Open Source via Hugging Face ou API propriétaires) valider les performances et documenter vos résultats pour passer de lidée à la production.

3. Écosystème et Partage

• Veille Technologique : Rester à laffût des dernières publications et bibliothèques (LangChain LlamaIndex Transformers...) pour suggérer des innovations pertinentes.
• Communauté : Devenir un membre actif de la communauté Data/AI au sein de GE Vernova partager vos retours dexpérience et apprendre des experts du groupe.

Quel(le) étudiant(e) recherchons-nous

Compétences Techniques (Hard Skills)

• Maîtrise de lécosystème Python : Plus que des bases vous savez écrire un code propre et structuré. La connaissance de bibliothèques comme Pandas (manipulation de données) et de frameworks de création dAPI ou dinterfaces (type FastAPI Flask) est un vrai plus.
• Fondamentaux du NLP & IA :
  • Compréhension des concepts clés : Tokenisation Lemmatisation Embeddings Vector Stores.
  • Sensibilité aux modèles de langage (LLM) et aux techniques de Prompt Engineering.
  • Utilisation de frameworks State-of-the-Art (ex: Hugging Face Transformers LangChain LlamaIndex Scikit-Learn).
• Software Engineering & Data :
  • Usage courant de Git pour le versioning.
  • Bonnes connaissances Linux
  • Bases de données : Notions de SQL.
  • Environnements : Capacité à travailler avec des environnements virtuels (venv py-env virtualbox) et notions de conteneurisation (Docker).

Savoir être (soft skills)

• Veille active & Curiosité : Le domaine de lIA évolue chaque semaine ; vous aimez apprendre par vous-même et tester de nouvelles bibliothèques.
• Esprit danalyse et critique : Capacité à évaluer la pertinence dune réponse dIA et à identifier les biais ou hallucinations.
• Autonomie & Force de proposition : Vous navez pas peur de partir dune page blanche pour proposer un prototype (PoC).
• Communication : Savoir vulgariser des concepts techniques complexes pour les partager avec léquipe et les utilisateurs finaux.

Langues

• Anglais (Niveau B2 minimum) : Indispensable pour la lecture de documentations techniques lutilisation de modèles entraînés principalement en anglais et les échanges avec la communauté internationale de GE Vernova.

ENGLISH:

As a Digital Engineering Apprentice you will be at the heart of our technological transformation. Your role will be twofold: consolidate our application bases in Python and propel our textual data analysis capabilities through Artificial Intelligence.

1. Python Development & Engineering

• Knowledge of what already exists: Take ownership of our current tools and architectures through the development and maintenance of concrete Python applications.
• Software Craftsmanship: Participate in the continuous improvement of the code and propose architectural evolutions to make our tools more robust and scalable.
• UX-Focus: Collaborate in the design of intuitive interfaces so that our tools are adopted by business users.

2. Artificial Intelligence R&D (NLP & GenAI)

You will be our enlightener on language processing technologies to transform the analysis of our large documents (contracts standards specifications):

• Data architecture: Set up word processing pipelines (cleaning strategic chunking) and transform textual information into usable data (embeddings vectorization).
• Implementation of LLM solutions: Explore and deploy modern architectures such as RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) to enable intelligent querying of our documentary databases.
• Prompt Engineering: Design and optimize interactions with language models to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the responses extracted.
• Experimentation (PoC): Test different models (Open Source via Hugging Face or proprietary APIs) validate performance and document your results to go from idea to production.

3. Ecosystem and Sharing

• Technology Watch: Stay on the lookout for the latest publications and libraries (LangChain LLAMAindex Transformers...) to suggest relevant innovations.
• Community: Become an active member of the Data/AI community within GE Vernova share feedback and learn from the groups experts.

What student are we looking for

Hard Skills

• Mastery of the Python ecosystem: More than basics you know how to write clean and structured code. Knowledge of libraries such as Pandas (data manipulation) and frameworks for creating APIs or interfaces (such as FastAPI Flask) is a real plus.
