As a Locum Radiologist you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using imaging techniques. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and assist in the development of innovative treatment plans.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays MRIs and CT scans
Interpret and analyze imaging results to provide accurate diagnoses
Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and treatment options
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all imaging practices
Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and practices
Provide high-quality patient care and support throughout the diagnostic process
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Active medical license to practice in the state of Florida
Completion of residency training in Radiology
Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and techniques
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred
Flexible Schedule: Night shifts (11p-7a) or day shifts (between 7a-6p)
Case Volume: 7-8 RVUs per shift
Skillsets: General body or neuro
Diverse caseloads
Primarily outpatient reads some inpatient reads
Some pediatric coverage at night
Systems: Philips iSite PowerScribe Epic
Workstations provided
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
