Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Provide psychotherapy and medication management

- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Participate in ongoing education and training
- Engage in community outreach and mental health awareness programs
- Stay updated on advancements in psychiatric practices
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Portsmouth
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Experience with electronic health record systems is a plus
- Familiarity with evidence-based psychiatric practices is preferred
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
Beeper call shifts required
Setting: Onsite 1 day remote per week
Duties: Guiding complex cases maintaining a small patient panel and providing medication management
Overseeing a team of PMHNPs a staff psychiatrist and behavioral health nurses
Will provide outpatient psychiatric care and clinical leadership
Will participate in biweekly directors meetings
Must be board-certified
