Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic examinations on tissue specimens
Interpret laboratory results and provide accurate diagnoses
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on patient management
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
Stay updated on advancements in pathology and medical technology
Consult with other specialists regarding complex cases
Provide education and training to medical staff as needed
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Pathology preferred
1-3 years of experience in a pathology setting
Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of laboratory standards and regulations
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
No required call shifts
Case Types: Heme and surgical pathology
