Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing cardiac surgeries
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during procedures
Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia plans
Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations
Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
Educate patients and families on anesthesia processes and safety
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
Stay current with advances in anesthesiology practices and technologies
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Anesthesiology
Experience in Cardiac Anesthesiology preferred
Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Current state medical license and DEA registration
