Description
This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional medical care in a dynamic environment within the medical practice industry.
As a Locum MD you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services to our patients. You will be responsible for assessing diagnosing and managing patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care. This role is essential in supporting our commitment to providing quality healthcare services in the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and manage various medical conditions related to Ob/Gyn
- Perform necessary medical procedures and interventions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Participate in on-call duties as required
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- 3 years of clinical experience in Ob/Gyn
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Arizona
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
1:4 weeknight and weekend beeper call rotation
Annual Volume: 250 deliveries
Daily Clinic Volume: 12-14 patients
Support Staff: Midwives
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
