Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Perform procedures related to hematology and oncology
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Monitor and manage patient progress throughout treatment
Provide education and support to patients and their families
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in hematology oncology
Requirements
MD degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Hematology Oncology
3-5 years of clinical experience in hematology oncology
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts 4 days per week
Light call requirement
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: 15 per day
1 round of consults in the morning and 1 round in the afternoon
Case Mix: Hematology and medical oncology
Support Staff: 2 additional physicians
Must be board-certified
