As a Locum General Surgeon you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive surgical services ensuring optimal patient outcomes while working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists nurses and other healthcare staff
- Monitor and manage patient recovery in the surgical unit
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to surgical team meetings
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in General Surgery
- 3-5 years of surgical experience preferred
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Active medical license in the state of Washington
