As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare team during periods of high demand. Your expertise will be essential in delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
Conduct routine examinations and screenings
Manage prenatal perinatal and postnatal care
Perform surgical procedures as required
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure quality patient care
Stay updated with the latest medical practices and guidelines in Ob/Gyn
Participate in patient education and counseling
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Current board certification in Ob/Gyn
Valid medical license to practice in the state of Illinois
1-3 years of experience in Ob/Gyn preferred
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Ob/Gyn procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Level II Trauma
Schedule: 24-hour in-house call 2-3 shifts per month
Patient Census: 4 deliveries per 24-hour shift
Duties: DNCs post-operative complications deliveries post-partum patients and full-spectrum OB/GYN
Support Staff: Additional OB Hospitalist
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
