This contract on-site position provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the medical practice industry by offering high-quality care to our patients.
As a Locum Ob/Gyn you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare team during periods of high demand. Your expertise will be essential in delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct routine examinations and screenings
- Manage prenatal perinatal and postnatal care
- Perform surgical procedures as required
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure quality patient care
- Stay updated with the latest medical practices and guidelines in Ob/Gyn
- Participate in patient education and counseling
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current board certification in Ob/Gyn
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Illinois
- 1-3 years of experience in Ob/Gyn preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Ob/Gyn procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Level II Trauma
Schedule: 24-hour in-house call 2-3 shifts per month
Patient Census: 4 deliveries per 24-hour shift
Duties: DNCs post-operative complications deliveries post-partum patients and full-spectrum OB/GYN
Support Staff: Additional OB Hospitalist
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
