As a Locum MD in Radiology you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients through advanced imaging techniques. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality radiological services and will be instrumental in improving patient outcomes through accurate interpretation of imaging studies.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays MRIs and CT scans
Interpret imaging results and provide timely reports to referring physicians
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in radiological practices
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and methodologies
Provide guidance and training to junior staff and radiology technicians
Manage patient records and documentation accurately and confidentially
Requirements
MD degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Radiology
3-5 years of clinical experience in a radiology setting
Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques and protocols
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Current medical licensure to practice in the state of Columbia
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p
Call: Weekdays or weekends 4:30p-8a
Skillsets: DX US CT MRI IR or nuclear medicine
EMR: CPRS
Any state license accepted
Must be board-certified
