Maintenance Manager Mon Fri, Days, 247 Operations

• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all essential shop functions.
• Manage the maintenance department budget.
• Manage the inspection repair and servicing of all fleet tractors and trailers.
• Work with safety department in training all maintenance employees in OSHA and safety procedures.
• Promote quality and continuous Improvement.
• Manage equipment preventive maintenance service intervals and records.
• Ensure that working areas are properly maintained cleaned and OSHA compliant.
• Responsible to ensure that inventory control security safety and shop policies are adhered to.
• Write and implement SOPs on tractor and trailer maintenance.
• Hire and train a staff of (4) maintenance clerks located in different cities and manage daily operations.
• Manage the work of employees in the maintenance department to ensure accurate completion in a timely manner.
• Perform PM scheduling parts purchasing and inventory control.
• Availability during 24/7 operations
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• Requires a minimum of (5) five or more years of experience

• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
