Geisingers Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a board certified/board eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton Pennsylvania.Job Duties:
The ideal candidate would be an early career or a mid-career interventional cardiologist.
System-wide Geisingers Heart and Vascular Institute has 69 Cardiologists 12 Cardiothoracic Surgeons 12 Vascular Surgeons as well as 82 Advanced are provided at GMC in Danville PA; The Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital at Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) in Wilkes-Barre PA; Geisinger Community Medical Center (G-CMC) in Scranton PA; Geisinger Grays Woods in State College PA; as well as select community locations encompassing an additional Cardiologists.
The multidisciplinary team members of the Geisinger Heart and Vascular Institute participate in outcomes and population-based research through the Geisinger Center for Health Research; molecular cellular and genomics research at the Siegfried and Janet Weis Center for Health Research; and trials of new drugs devices and techniques through the Geisinger Center for Clinical Studies. The Institute serves as an educational venue for five cardiology fellows per year and advanced fourth-year cardiology fellows an annual Cardiology Symposium and frequent CME lectures.
