Objective: The USAFSAM/IE Defense Institute for Medical Operations (DIMO) mission is to achieve security cooperation through health education and training in the global environment. DIMO aims to be the premier provider of security cooperation focused on health education and training that builds strong resilient international partnerships. DIMOs portfolio includes both exportable courses via mobile teams as well as resident courses hosted within the United States.

Schedule: Work schedule is normally M-F 0730-1630; however there may be times when it is necessary for the employee to work after duty hours in support of specific tasks. Although the schedule may have to be flexible it will not exceed 40 hours per week.
Qualifications- employee shall possess an associates degree and demonstrated experience related to the tasks
- employee shall have five (5) years of specialized knowledge/experience in delivering and teaching pre-hospital trauma care or emergency medical care technicians.
- employee shall have two (2) years of experience in the fields of international health and security cooperation within any Federal agency.
- employee shall have and maintain current Emergency Medical Tech or equivalent certification. Preferred background experience and certification from training as an Air Force Medical Technician/Navy Corpsman/Army Medic.
- employee shall obtain affiliate faculty status for Tactical Combat Casualty Care and International Trauma Life Support in order to teach prepare new instructors and manage the programs with full understanding of requirements within 180 days.
HIGHLY DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certification as a National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Instructor
