Luminis Health is seeking passionate physical therapists to join our Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program immersive experience designed to develop clinical expertise provide mentorship and prepare residents for the Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) Exam.

Job Overview & Work Site
Program Highlights:
- 100% pass rate for the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialist Exam Orthopaedic (OCS)
- Total program cost: Up to $300 for participants
- Program-sponsored financial assistance including travel costs stipends examination fees and other support
- Competitive salary package: Base salary of $75000 with additional benefits bringing total compensation up to $87788.85.
As a Resident You Will:
- Treat and evaluate patients up to 34 hours per week
- Engage in 8 hours of coursework and professional development weekly

Curriculum Overview:
- 4 weeks Orientation & evidence-based practice
- 24 weeks Spine head maxillofacial cervical thoracic lumbar pelvis
- 12 weeks Lower extremity (hip knee foot ankle)
- 12 weeks Upper extremity (shoulder elbow wrist hand)

License & Experience
Requirements to initiate consideration for this position include the following:
- Graduate (current or pending) from an accredited physical therapy program
- Active or pending state physical therapist license
Next steps for Complete Admissions Criteria:
- Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)-accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Attainment of Maryland Physical Therapy licensure prior to beginning the residency program
- Five references provided through our skills surveys including at least one clinical and one educational reference
- Submission of at least one letter of recommendation from one of the above references
- Completion of an interview with the Residency Program Director and Residency Coordinator
- Current CPR certification
- Submission of a Personal Vision and Development Plan
- Submission of applications through RF-PTCAS and LHAAMCs Careers webpage
- Compliance with all Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center employment requirements
