• Traveler Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction) - Required
  

This position sets up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures processes and performs quality control checks on cine radiographic images assists in preparing patient for procedures and assists other members of the cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians as needed to ensure timely and efficient use of the cardiac cath lab/special procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• (35%)* Assists in prepping patients sterile tray set up post-cath care and procedures and room clean up.
  
• (35%)* Manipulates equipment and sets appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality.
  
• (30%)* Operates a variety of electronic equipment including cardiac output computers oxygen saturation equipment hemodynamic equipment pacemakers etc. and performs oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements.

• Weekly Pay (hourly) Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

• Cath Lab Tech Experience is required
  
• Active Certification through American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required; Please note that the client CANNOT accept RCIS over ARRT
  
• Active American Heart Association BLS is required
  
• Active American Heart Association ACLS is required
  
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Strong communication professionalism and reliability
