• Traveler Policy: Will not accept Local Traveler (within 50 miles of facility)
  
• Dress Code: Scrubs any color no denim. Closed-toe shoes. No perfume or cologne.
  
• Therapist/Patient Ratio: 1:5 or 6 is typical
  
• Typical Patient Need: ED Inpatient transport to tertiary care center
  

Key Responsibilities:

• (20%)* Evaluates the patients function by performing formal/informal testing measures to determine the skeletal neurological respiratory and cardiovascular status.
  
• (20%)* Develops a goal specific treatment regime based on assessment data and the patients tolerance to carry-out the treatment plan as prescribed.
  
• (20%)* Submits a written treatment regime to be included as part of the plan of treatment authorized by and coordinated with the physician. Updates to plan of care as needed to reflect changes in patient -signs verbal orders received by physical therapist assistant as necessary.
  
• (20%)* Devises a schedule of treatment which is frequency and duration specific to be discussed with patient/family/caregiver and coordinated with clinical support staff.
  
• (20%)* Educates patient family and/or caregiver regarding pathology or condition patient alternatives prognosis and rationale for treatment through forms of rest exercise modalities and other indicated interventions.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years current acute care experience is required
  
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred
  
• High degree of proficiency working with ventilators
  
• HHN BiPAP & CPAP experience is required
  
• Active American Heart Association BLS is required
  
• Active NBRC or CRT is required
  
• New Hampshire State License is required; Compact Allowed
  
• NH RCP Licensures. Will accept temporary. MUST be willing to apply for temp NH RCP at time of offer (7-14 day turnaround)
  
• License verification is required
  
• All licenses/certs must be current at time of submission
  
• Permanent address must be included in submission file is required
  
• RTO - must be included in submission. RTO submitted after offer may not be accommodated.
