About the Role
Sunshine Coast Radiology is seeking a motivated and experiencedSonographerto join our growing team.
Reporting to theChief Sonographer you will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast general MSK vascular and obstetrics and gynaecology within a fast-paced patient-focused environment.
Youll work alongside a highly skilled and supportive team ofRadiologists O&G Sonologist Sonographers and administrative staff all committed to delivering exceptional patient care across the Sunshine Coast.
With13 clinics spanning Caloundra to Cooroy includingtwo hospital sites Sunshine Coast Radiology provides comprehensive imaging services throughout the region - with anexciting new clinic opening at Maroochy Private Hospital in 2026.

Responsibilities include -
- Conduct a variety of scans including a mix of general MSK vascular obstetrics and gynaecological studies.
- Enjoy a varied mix of hospital and private clinic work as well as a state of the art dedicated breast imaging clinic (if applicable)
- On-call work available.
- Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues.
- Ensure rooms are restocked cleaned and patients are finalized.
About You -
- Bachelor of Medical Sonography/Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Ultrasound with current registration with ASAR.
- Ideally 2 years postgraduate ultrasound experience.
- An all-rounder with competencies in a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast general obstetrics and vascular with a keen interest in MSK.
- Prepared to participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster between 5pm - 8am.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.
- Experience with Canon is ideal.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
- Focused on providing consistently highlevel patientcentred healthcare.
