We are looking for an extracurricular intern within the Service MRO (Maintenance Repair & Overhaul) business. You will collaborate with the Service Master Scheduling team that is responsible for the integrated planning of shop workload ensuring alignment between customer demand production capacity and material availability to meet Safety Quality Delivery and Cost targets.
You will support the team in preparatory activities and provide day-to-day support to the Master Scheduling team contributing to data preparation plan updates and analysis that enable effective operational scheduling.
You will collaborate to integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization you will learn how to manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise and you will be involved in long term planning and overall business strategy.

Job Description

Essential Responsabilities

  • Support Planning and Scheduling MRO activity by Gate developing and maintaining detailed production plans for all MRO activities

  • Collaborate with Production Control & Service Master Scheduler to ensure capacity are allocated efficiently

  • Support the team in preparatory activities

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Master Scheduling team contributing to data preparation plan updates and analysis that enable effective operational scheduling

  • Monitor and update incoming shop visit (modules engines partis) and scheduling of induction

  • Monitoring performance KPI

  • Collaborate to integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Engineering field preferably in Management Engineering

  • Knowledge of MS Office applications especially Word Excel and Power Point

  • Fluent Italian and English

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Curious and eager to learn

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional work groups

  • Analytical mindset and problem solving skills

  • Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

  • Able to coordinate many tasks concurrently

  • Study or working experience abroad will be considered as a plus
