We are seeking a Consolidation and Financial Reporting Manager with strong expertise in IFRS experience in accounting audits and consolidated financial reporting to join our team.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Groups annual consolidated financial statements in Spanish and English in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the external audit process including audit planning preparation of audit instructions and kick-off meetings with auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements in English under IAS 34 including disclosures for investor reporting and MD&A documentation.
- Review monthly consolidated financial statements to identify significant variances and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Review consolidation templates submitted by subsidiaries and business units to ensure compliance with Group accounting policies.
- Provide support in bond issuance processes and other corporate finance initiatives.
- Serve as an internal advisor on IFRS and local financial reporting standards across Group companies.
- Monitor updates in financial reporting standards and assess their potential impact on the Group.
- Support M&A activities by participating in financial due diligence processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial consolidation financial reporting or external audit.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting audit
- Advanced English proficiency.
