Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM) Katy TX
A veterinary hospital is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM) to join its growing team. Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage urgent and same-day cases
- Perform physical exams diagnostics and treatment planning
- Stabilize and treat acute conditions
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital radiology and in-house laboratory equipment
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses treatment options and aftercare
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Contribute to a positive team-oriented hospital culture
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Interest or experience in urgent care or emergency medicine
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
