RN Quality Assurance Nurse (Contract)
Location: Flagstaff AZ
Type: Contract
Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Nurse / Infection Preventionist / Staff Educator to lead compliance infection control and staff training initiatives ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee QA programs audits QAPI/PIPs and survey readiness
- Review CASPER reports analyze data and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and investigate non-compliance
- Conduct infection control rounds; track and trend infections (McGeer criteria)
- Lead Infection Control Committee and initiatives
- Develop and deliver staff education training and competency validation
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN/LPN License
- Infection Preventionist Certification
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid drivers license
Skills
- Strong QA compliance and long-term care knowledge (OBRA)
- Data analysis and performance improvement experience
- Excellent communication and training skills
