Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Educator to support clinical education initiatives within a healthcare setting. This role is responsible for designing delivering and evaluating educational programs that enhance nursing competencies and improve patient care outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a passion for teaching and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
Develop implement and evaluate nursing education programs and curricula.
Provide training and continuing education to nursing staff and students.
Assess learning needs and create customized educational materials.
Facilitate classroom instruction clinical teaching and hands-on skills workshops.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance and educational progress.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align education with clinical practice.
Stay current with nursing best practices standards and regulatory requirements.
Promote evidence-based practices to enhance patient care quality.
Contribute to research and development of educational policies.
Maintain accurate documentation of training activities and outcomes.
Mentor and support nursing staff and students in professional development.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
Strong clinical background
Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
