Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies screening protocols and/or emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Screen employees visitors patients and/or vendors at designated access points by following site screening procedures verifying required credentials and directing individuals as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations as needed noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Support access control and visitor management functions by monitoring entry points communicating clearly with staff and guests and reporting policy violations or screening issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
