Senior BI Developer (GenBI Specialist)

What Youll Tackle Each Day:

GenBI & AI Integration: Lead the design and implementation of conversational AI experiences within BI workflows. Leverage LLMs to enable natural language interaction with data moving beyond static dashboards to dynamic insight-driven exploration.

Semantic Layer & Data Modeling Excellence: Design and optimize robust semantic layers and data models to support scalable high-performance analytics. Ensure consistency reusability and alignment with business definitions across all reporting layers.

End-to-End BI Lifecycle: Own BI initiatives from requirement gathering and data modeling to dashboard development and post-deployment optimization.

Advanced Tableau Development: Design and maintain high-performance intuitive and visually compelling dashboards that serve as a trusted source of insights for stakeholders.

Technical Leadership: Act as a mentor and architect within the BI team promoting best practices in dashboard design reusable components and modular BI solutions.

Strategic Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with global stakeholders to translate business needs into impactful BI and AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications :

Experience:

5 to 7 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence / BI Engineering with a strong track record of delivering scalable analytics solutions.

Core Tech Stack:

Databricks SQL & Python: Strong experience working with Databricks Spark SQL and Python (for data analysis automation and integrating AI/BI workflows) to support advanced analytics and reporting use cases.

Generative AI: Experience or strong interest in integrating LLMs (e.g. Claude Mistral) or frameworks like Snowflake Cortex / LangChain into BI workflows.

Tableau: Advanced expertise in dashboard design performance tuning and visualization best practices.

Key Strengths:

Architectural Mindset: Ability to design clean scalable BI solutions with a focus on maintainability and reuse.

Project Ownership: Experience leading BI projects end-to-end including requirements gathering wireframing (e.g. Figma) and delivery.

Innovation-Driven: Passion for exploring and applying emerging technologies (especially AI) to enhance BI capabilities.

Soft Skills: Strong collaboration stakeholder communication and mentoring skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
