Junior Sustainability Analyst
Job Summary
Educanta is looking for a sustainability enthusiast familiar with product packaging to strengthen our clients data and reporting capabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience working with sustainability and operational data in a real-world business context. You will be employed by EDUAB and work closely with the clients team contributing to key initiatives related to data quality packaging and regulatory readiness.
In this role you will help ensure that sustainability and packaging data are accurate complete and actionable while supporting ongoing projects and upcoming regulatory requirements such as PPWR. This is an excellent opportunity to work hands-on with the implementation of new European regulations. Other operational tasks will arise from daily work with the Sustainability team.
This project is tailored for a part-time position until end-2026 and will start in June.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the integration of sustainability and packaging data from a newly acquired brand into existing systems.
- Identify analyse and help resolve data gaps to improve overall data quality and consistency.
- Coordinate and manage data files received from suppliers ensuring completeness and usability for PPWR compliance.
- Validate and structure data and files using internal AI tools Excel-based workflows and develop new tools (using Excel Copilot Power Automate ).
- Follow up with stakeholders to resolve inconsistencies and missing information.
- Collaborate closely with the clients sustainability and operations teams to support ongoing initiatives.
Qualifications :
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive team player with a strong interest in sustainability and data.
- Bachelors or masters degree (ongoing or completed) in a relevant field (sustainability industrial engineering packaging engineering ...)
- Strong analytical skills and a structured detail-oriented way of working.
- Good proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint.
- An interest in working with data sustainability topics and process improvement.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
Experience with tools such as Power Automate or working with data validation/AI-supported workflows is a plus but not required.
Additional Information :

- Contract: Fixed-term part-time (50% flexible)
- Location: Stockholm (hybrid; primarily on-site at the beginning)
- Start: June 2026
- Duration: Until the end of 2026 with possibility of extension
- You will work primarily with the clients local team with support from Educanta when needed.
