The Need

For over 25 years IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade IJMs Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% forvery largepopulations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence we are seeking aGlobalResourcesOperationsAssociatetosupport operational systems and processes across Global Resources with a particular focus on Trips to the Field and the Speakers Bureau ensuring effective coordination communication andendtoend execution.


This position is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) iflocatedin the Washington DC area or remote fornonlocalcandidates. It reports to the Global Resource Operations Manager and is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Lead effective project management across Trips to the Field and Speakers Bureau operations;

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for backend operations management using Smartsheet SharePoint and other identified platforms;

  • Coordinate operational processes timelines and workflows to ensure requests and engagements are executed effectively from preparation throughcloseout;

  • Partner closely with the Global Survivor Network to ensure policy alignment consistency andrightsizedendtoendsupport for Survivor Speaker engagements;

  • Ensure requesting teams meet training hosting and policy requirements prior to engagements;

  • Drive schedules for itineraries briefing calls preparation milestones and engagementfollowups;

  • Support preparation of speaker remarks and coordination with internal stakeholders;

  • Collaborate with Finance and other internal teams to ensure honorariums and compensation are processed when applicable;

  • Maintain organized backend data and reporting to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement; and

  • Participation in IJMs community of spiritual formation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field;

  • 35 years of experience in business operationslogistics or a related operational role;

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of projects and tasks simultaneously to completion;

  • Experience workingcrossculturallyand intraumainformedsettings;

  • Proven effectiveness collaborating oncrossfunctionalteams; and

  • Experience communicating with and producing materials for executive audiences.
