Senior Lighting Designer

1. Create complex lighting designs for external Design offices/Clients and Sales representative/Sales manager. Lighting designs may include:

• request analyses (availability of all necessary input parameters if request is in accordance with norms suggest alternative proposals in accordance with good lighting practise)   
• lighting calculations performed within in house or external lighting software
• luminaire specifications and descriptions
• elaboration of alternative proposals
• technical application notes (technical reports)
• drawings with luminaire disposition and all necessary details and/or visualizations.

1. Provide complex lighting calculations according to the requirements:

• inputs parameters analyses
• perform lighting calculations and analyses with alternative proposals and/or competitor analyses.

1. Provide necessary support in creation of city lighting reconstruction studies:

• inputs parameters analyses (road geometry existing lighting installation road categorization)
• on-site data collection
• determination of typical street profiles in accordance with road geometry and lighting class
• perform lighting calculations and analyses with alternative proposals and/or competitor analyses.

Prepare street lighting categorization proposal perform lighting calculations and analyses with alternative proposals in cooperation with direct Manager / responsible Sales rep/ Sales manager.

1. Consideration and application of the relevant lighting standards.

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree Graduate of any Engineering or Architectural major

Minimum 5 years experience as lighting designer (local or abroad))

Willing to work in Schreder office in BGC Metro Manila Philippines

Willing to work matching Middle East country office timings

Able to work with minimal supervision while fulfilling delivery deadlines with design accuracy of multiple project requests

Skills Needed:

3D modelling and 2D spatial planning skills

Articulate written and verbal Presentation skills

Software: DIALux Relux AutoCAD MS 365 as minimum while AGI32 Sketchup and Revit proficiencies are an advantage

Knowledgeable in material take-offs technical submittals and product compliance

Knowledgeable in Roads Tunnels and Sports Lighting International norms

Can pass road tunnel and sports lighting calculation examination to be shortlisted
