About the Role...
Looking for a sea change and a rewarding career Were seeking a highly skilled Sonographer to join our friendly close-knit team at Mackay Radiology just a short stroll from Mackay Mater Private Hospital. Responsibilities include

• Conduct a variety of scans including a mix of general MSK vascular obstetrics and gynaecological studies.
• Enjoy a varied mix of hospital and private clinic work as well as a state of the art dedicated breast imaging clinic (if applicable)
• Weekend and on-call work available.
• Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues.
• Ensure rooms are restocked cleaned and patients are finalized.

About You

• Graduate Diploma or Masters of Medical Ultrasound with current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
• Ideally 2 years postgraduate ultrasound experience
• An all-rounder with competencies in a variety of ultrasound examinations including breast general MSK obstetrics and vascular.
• Prepared to participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster between 6pm - 8am.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.
• Experience with Canon and GE ideal.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.

What Were Looking For:

ASAR-accredited Sonographer (or eligible for registration)
Graduate Diploma or Masters in Medical Sonography
Experience in general obstetric vascular and MSK ultrasound
A commitment to quality care and continuous learning
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Australian Residency or full working rights in Australia
