Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth Management: Partner with large sellers to increase selection and exposure on the platform which in turn will drive customer reviews and long-term repeat purchase rates.
- Visibility & Exposure Optimization: Advise sellers on utilizing platform-driven exposure tools to feature products in high-traffic areas such as the site homepage daily deal sections and specialized category pages.
- Data-Driven Pricing Strategy: Leverage internal marketplace data to recommend optimized pricing levels that are predicted to drive maximum sales volume and improve eligibility for premium site placement.
- Portfolio Health & Eligibility: Monitor seller performance to ensure products meet essential benchmarks such as maintaining specific recent sales volumes and stock levels required for promotional eligibility.
- Logistics & Fulfillment Advisory: Guide sellers on shipping standards including the implementation of free shipping models which are preferred by customers and often serve as a prerequisite for enhanced platform exposure.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Marketplace Expertise: Extensive experience in eCommerce account management with a proven track record of scaling high-volume seller accounts.
- Algorithmic Proficiency: Deep understanding of how personalized discovery algorithms and internal marketplace logic dictate product visibility to potential buyers.
- Operational Agility: Ability to manage complex promotional lifecycles from initial selection and condition setting to real-time performance tracking and post-promotion analysis.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to evaluate business performance based on price competitiveness fulfillment speed and inventory health.
- Stakeholder Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to provide clear guidance on platform policies and help sellers navigate internal review processes.
