Maintenance Office Administrator
Full Time - 37.5hrs per Week
Woodland & Glendon Wood Hospitals- Kettering
Summary:
Are you a highly organised enthusiastic individual with a drive to keep operations running smoothly We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Office Administrator to carry out the administrative and operational functions of ourMaintenanceDepartment.
The Woodland hospital in Kettering has four theatresoperating6 days a week covering a diverse range of elective services includingOrthopaedic Spinal Pain General surgery Weight loss Surgery Cosmetic Surgery UrologyGynaecologyENTand Ophthalmology.We have a 23 bedded inpatient ward and 19 Day case Rooms / Bays.We also have a pharmacy and radiology services at the hospital.
Glendon Wood Hospital works closely with Woodland Hospital with staff moving across both sites in support of activities. Glendon Wood Hospital has 2 laminar flow theatres and a designated endoscopy suite as well as outpatients physiotherapy unit and a full imaging suite including CTMRIand mammography.
What youll do:
Coordinate and schedule maintenance requests and repairs across our facilities.
Work with the maintenance team to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Maintainaccuraterecords of maintenance activities service contracts and compliance documentation.
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers asrequired.
Assistthe maintenance manager with procurement of equipment and materialsvia the Hospitals SAP system
Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that Health & Safety requirements are actioned from auditsin order toensure compliance.
What youll bring:
Previousexperience in an office administration or facilities/maintenance coordination role.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong ITproficiencywith MS Office and maintenance management software.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
Desire and motivation to learn new skills and knowledge within an evolving department
Knowledge of health and safety regulations is desirableor bewilling to work towards completing a Health and safety qualification.
