How you will Impact PLATFORM

The successful candidate will lead consulting engagements and negotiate with benefit carriers and vendors to secure health and welfare plan coverage for these employers. How you will be Successful

Lead or co-lead complex client engagements including managing overall service delivery financial evaluations plan design renewals business placement benchmarking and other studies
Oversee multiple projects and ensure they are on time within budget and exceed client expectations
Develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies and drive the development of tools and solutions to address complex client issues
Be accountable for revenue/profitability for client accounts and projects
Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and by leading prospective efforts with new clients
Maintain a high level of professionalism and sense of urgency to ensure client and/or participant expectations are consistently met

Education Experience and Qualifications

University degree or college diploma in actuarial science mathematics statistics finance or related preferred
5 years of experience in group benefits including client service and sales
Successful completion of AMF License or similar required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Visualization skills in Power BI Tableau or similar tools
Coding experience in programming languages such as Alteryx R Python. VBA or SQL preferred
Solid understanding of group benefit underwriting principles placement methodologies and funding methods
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Fluent in English and French must be bilingual
