As a Security Officer Credential Check Driver in Mc Intosh AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures monitoring access points and/or supporting emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control entry and exit for employees contractors visitors and deliveries by verifying credentials issuing passes maintaining visitor logs and reporting irregularities through appropriate channels.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following post orders and site protocols for restricted and sensitive areas.
• Monitor gates lobbies control rooms and/or other designated access points to help support authorized movement of people vehicles and materials throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter observing for unusual conditions access control concerns and other security-related matters and documenting findings as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
