About the Role

We are looking for aSeniorSoftware Engineerto join one of our product engineering this role you will design build andmaintainbackend services that power Sitecores cloud platforms. You will work closely with product managers architects QA engineers and other developers in a distributed international environment.

This is a senior individual contributor role with strong expectations around technical ownership system design and delivery quality.

What You Will Do

Design develop ship andmaintainproductiongrade backend services
Buildfacade and common APIsthat encapsulate business logic and hide platform complexity
Develop services running inMicrosoft Azure using cloudnative patterns
Work withdataintensive services includingAzure Cosmos DB
Define and evolveREST and/or GraphQLbased APIsused by internalapplications
Ensure APIs aresecure performant and observable
Deliver features bug fixes and hotfixes following Sitecores engineering standards
Actively contribute torefinement of user stories acceptance criteria and technical designs
Troubleshoot and resolvecomplex highimpact production issues
Contribute to and improveCI/CD pipelinesand automated deployment processes
Write highquality testable and maintainable code with strong test coverage
Leverage modern developer tooling includingAIassisted development tools(e.g. GitHub Copilot or similar) to improve productivity while maintaining code quality
Collaborate closely with product managersengineering managersarchitects QA and other engineering teams
Mentor other developers through code reviews and technical discussions
Contribute to defining and evolvingengineering best practices

What You Bring

Required Experience & Skills

6 years of professional software development experience
Strong backend development experience withC# / .NET (.NET Core and/ Framework)
Proven experience designing and consumingHTTP APIs(RESTGraphQL or both)
Solid understanding of:
Objectoriented design
Asynchronous programming
Performance scalability and reliability
Handson experience withMicrosoft Azure
Experience working withAzure Cosmos DBor other distributed NoSQL data stores
Practical experience withcontainerization technologiessuch asDockerand familiarity withKubernetes
Experience designing building or maintainingCI/CD pipelines
Strong knowledge ofGitand modern branching strategies
Experience withrelational databases(e.g. SQL Server)
Proven experience writingunit and integration tests
Comfortable usingAIassisted developer tools(such as GitHub Copilot M365 Copilot or similar) as part of a modern development workflow
Ability to work effectively indistributed crossfunctional teams
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

Previous experience working onSaaS or enterprise platforms
Familiarity withSitecore products(XM Cloud XP SXA or related technologies)
Experience designing systems usingeventdriven or distributed architectures
Experience with infrastructureoriented or deployment tooling
Interest in developer productivity automation or applied use of AI in software development
