ELS Houston IELTS Testing Centre is seeking dependable customer-focused and highly professional Exams Invigilators/Proctors to join our team in delivering tests at ELS Nashville. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated detail-orientated and capable of working in a fast-paced testing environment. We are currently looking for candidates who are available on Saturdays and Sundays. Invigilators are proctors who invigilate the test and may also assist with checking candidate ID checking in candidates belongings and escorting candidates to the restroom while the test is in progress. They work on test day and ensure the smooth and secure delivery of the test.

Job Duties:

The duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• Setting up test rooms and equipment at the venue as required
• Checking in and out test takers personal belongings
• Checking in test-takers using IELTS and other high-stakes testing processes
• Administering and invigilating tests
• Cleaning up after tests
• Ability to lift and push/pull bins weighing up to 30lbs with reasonable accommodations available.
  
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications Skills and Attributes:

• Awareness of and experience with high-stakes testing including IELTS and CELPIP is an asset

• Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) is preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills attention to detail punctuality and professionalism
• Ability to work in a secure high-stakes examination environment while maintaining confidently of sensitive information
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Customer service experience is an asset
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to accurately follow established procedures and guidelines
• Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed and ability to perform the essential duties of the role which may include extended periods of standing walking or sitting with reasonable accommodations available.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The hourly rate for this position is $17.00 per hour
