Job Summary
Would you like to be part of a creative and highly supportive Educational Psychology Service (EPS) learning to apply psychology to improve outcomes for children young people/adults their families and staff in a range of educational settings
If you do we are looking to take on two Assistant Educational Psychologists one to be based in Lewes and the other in Eastbourne with all the experience and support you need to apply to become an Educational Psychologist.
As an Assistant Educational Psychologist you will learn about and support the work of our Educational Psychologists and make a unique contribution to the inclusion of children and young people in their schools and colleges. The role can involve a variety as tasks carried out under the supervision of a qualified Educational Psychologist including assisting in the provision of psychological advice through carrying out observations analysing needs and supporting person centred planning approaches. You will support the planning delivery and evaluation of psychological based interventions as well as assisting with the development and provision of training guidance and support for education settings and families on early intervention and effective support for children and young people with SEND.
