Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 810 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java Spring Boot REST APIs Microservices and Kafka with proven experience in building enterprise-grade distributed systems.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain robust backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
Build and enhance RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend systems and third-party applications
Develop and implement microservices-based architecture for scalable and modular applications
Work on event-driven architecture using Kafka for real-time data processing and messaging
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners architects QA and DevOps
Ensure application performance scalability reliability and security
Write clean maintainable and reusable code following coding standards and best practices
Participate in system design discussions code reviews and architectural decisions
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize backend performance
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration and deployment processes
Work closely with database teams for schema design and query optimization

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Skills
6-8 years of strong backend development experience in Java
Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot
Strong experience in designing and consuming REST APIs
Solid knowledge of Microservices architecture
Experience with Apache Kafka for messaging and event streaming
Strong understanding of Core Java Java 8 features
Experience with Spring MVC Spring Security Spring Data JPA
Strong SQL and database design skills (Oracle MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB)
Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes
Experience with Git Maven/Gradle
Good understanding of multithreading concurrency and performance tuning
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus
Preferred Skills
Experience in distributed systems and high-volume transaction applications
Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI
Knowledge of caching technologies like Redis
Experience in monitoring/logging tools such as ELK Splunk Grafana
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or related field
Relevant experience in enterprise backend application development
