Job Summary
Our startup client is developing off-grid communications technology (software solar-powered hardware) for Adventurers Firefighters DoD Rescue Operations and more. Theyre currently in need of a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help develop new software features for their customer applications and custom hardware (including satellite tech Bluetooth mesh networking sensors and so much more). This is a great opportunity for a seasoned Engineer to work in a greenfield environment impact direction and join a team of highly talented and collaborative Developers.
(Currently hiring Engineers based in San Francisco CA and Chicago IL)
An ideal candidate will have the following:
- 8 years experience building and maintaining software services
- Expert coding skills in Java/Kotlin/Spring
- Demonstrated success working in a startup environment
- Experience developing integrations with partner systems
- BS degree in CS Mathematics or other STEM discipline
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative mindset
