Job Summary
Regions is hiring a Hospital Social Worker. Come join our dynamic and passionate Social Work team! This position will bepicking up weekend shifts only.
Regions HospitalMedical Social Workers provide patients and families with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic acute or terminal illnesses within a hospital setting. Delivers professional and thorough social work services including psychosocial assessment and intervention planning. As a social worker you would support patients and family care givers providing patient education and counseling and making referrals for other services. This position will work independently and as part of a team working effectively with various internal and external partners patients families and physicians to facilitate patient care.
Work Schedule:
Weekends
Required Qualifications:
MSW from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or a similar accreditation body designated by the Minnesota Board of Social Work.
LGSW LISWor LICSW Licensure - MN Board of Social Work
1 year of experience in healthcare or social services (2 years of social work experience in LICSW)
