Our Child and Family Mental Health Teams is looking to hire a full-time LPC or LCSW LSCSW whose primary role will be to deliver evidence-based treatments for youth and their parents/caregivers. Overview
Are you interested in becoming a part of an exciting new initiative at Childrens Mercy We are looking for Mental Health Providers to join our PATH (Pediatric Access to Therapy and Healing) Team. PATH Providers will be trained and provide short-term outpatient therapy for patients who present with acuity needs training to be provided upon hire. PATH Providers will work in the emergency department along side our mental health assessment team to provide seamless care coordination.
This position will be located at Broadway Campus in KCMO and hours are Monday-Friday 10:00am - 6:30pm.
The Child and Family Mental Health Provider is a Masters level Clinician or Social Worker who will provide evidence-based therapy services to children and families at Childrens Mercy. Our mental health services are provided for a broad range of patients including children in mental health crisis parents struggling with behavioral problems children and families who have been impacted by trauma and children who are at risk for abuse and neglect. Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities
- Child and Family Therapy Service Provision and Documentation: The Child and Family Mental Health Provider will provide evidence based mental health treatments to patients and families within the clinical area they are assigned.
- Case Management and Collaboration: The Child and Family Mental Health Provider will maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong partnerships. This may include communication with referral sources service providers community mental health providers and care team members. as well as assisting families with accessing community services and transitioning to other treatment providers when needed.
- Professional Development: This Child and Family Mental Health Provider will demonstrate active involvement and leadership within the team department and hospital by regular attendance at meetings and educational opportunities serving as a consultant for other members of the department and hospital participation on committees and responding to hospital and/or community requests for educational programs.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree and
- 1-2 years experience and
- LCSW MO Licensed Clinical Social Worker MO
- If you are hired to work in Missouri you need to have Missouri License (LMSW/LCSW) or (LPC) upon hire.
- Within 90 days you must also obtain a Kansas License OR
- If you are hired to work in Missouri you need to have Missouri License (LMSW/LCSW) or (LPC) upon hire.
- LPC MO Licensed Professional Counselor
- If you are hired to work in Missouri you need to have Missouri License (LMSW/LCSW) or (LPC) upon hire.
- Within 90 days you must also obtain a Kansas LCPC License.
- If you are hired to work in Missouri you need to have Missouri License (LMSW/LCSW) or (LPC) upon hire.

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $31.15/hr but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Childrens Mercy locations and may not work from home.
