Job Summary

AWS is seeking an exceptional Senior ProServe Cloud Architect to join our team supporting one of EMEAs most strategic partnerships in the travel and hospitality this role youll work directly with a leading global travel platform to architect and deliver transformative cloud solutions that redefine customer experience at scale.

As the technical bridge between ProServe Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams youll translate complex business challenges into innovative scalable AWS solutions. Youll own the technical narrativefrom initial discovery through solution design and deliveryensuring every engagement drives measurable business impact for one of the worlds most influential travel technology companies.

This is a customer-facing role requiring travel to client locations across EMEA to deliver hands-on professional services and strategic guidance.

Key job responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture: Create and lead complex scalable and secure AWS solutions that deliver measurable Customer Business Outcomes (CBOs). Operate as the technical conduit between ProServe Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams ensuring proposed solutions are realistic achievable and optimized for customer success.

Pre-Sales Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise best practices and solution demonstrations during the pre-sales motion. Lead initial scoping design and engagement planning to accelerate deal closure and drive customer lifetime value.

Trusted Customer Advisory: Act as a strategic advisor to customer engineering and product leaders on industry trends emerging technologies and innovative solutions to address their most complex business challenges. Define cloud operating models and drive enterprise transformation initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Managers Shared Delivery Teams and AWS service teams to ensure seamless solution hand-off and successful implementation. Influence revenue through bookings solution alignment and delivery excellence.

Knowledge Leadership: Mentor and train team members create reusable artifacts and drive process improvements across the organization. Share technical expertise through internal and external thought leadership.

Business Value Translation: Translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders including C-level executives.


A day in the life
Your day will center on direct engagement with a leading global travel platforms engineering and product leaders translating their business challenges into scalable AWS solutions. Youll lead technical pre-sales activitiesdesigning architectures scoping engagements and presenting solutions to both technical teams and executives. Internally youll collaborate closely with a multicultural large account team including ProServe Account Executives AWS Account Managers Solution Architects and Shared Delivery Teams across EMEA. Youll operate as the technical bridge that ensures proposed solutions are realistic and optimized for customer success navigating diverse perspectives and working styles to drive alignment.

Beyond customer-facing work youll mentor team members create reusable artifacts and stay current on AWS services and travel industry trends. Youll solve complex problems like architecting omnichannel customer service platforms handling millions of global interactions designing real-time analytics solutions modernizing legacy applications and implementing AI/ML-powered personalizationall while defining cloud operating models that enable organizational transformation.

About the team
The Professional Services team at AWS is responsible for assisting enterprise customers as they shift to the cloud by incorporating our services into their overall architecture. We work hand-in-hand with customer teams and AWS partners to provide deep expertise in the architecture design development and implementation of cloud computing initiatives that result in real business outcomes. As part of our team youll accelerate the adoption of our products all while advocating for the success of our customers.

- 7 years of IT platform implementation in a technical and analytical role experience
- 7 years of technical specialist design and architecture experience
- 3 years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
- Bachelors degree or 10 years of professional or military experience

- Experience in external or internal customer facing complex and large scale project management
