Location: Ludvika Sweden (100% on-site initially; potential hybrid later)

Period: 15 May 2026 14 May 2027 (extension possible; potential for permanent role)
Language: Swedish and English (fluent in both spoken and written mandatory)
Role Overview
We are hiring a Strategic Sourcing Senior Professional for one of our clients in this strategic role you will define and implement local sourcing strategies develop and maintain the supply base conduct supplier evaluations negotiate agreements and drive improvements in quality delivery and cost efficiency. You will act as a key link between internal stakeholders and suppliers in a technical manufacturing environment.
What Youll Do
Support the Factory Supply Chain Manager by streamlining daily operations and alleviating workload through proactive collaboration and efficient task management.
Define and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
Develop and manage supplier relationships and performance.
Conduct supplier evaluations and drive improvement initiatives.
Identify and qualify new suppliers.
Negotiate contracts pricing and commercial terms.
Monitor market trends affecting supply cost and availability.
Support internal stakeholders with sourcing needs.
Qualifications (Must-Have)
Experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management.
Strong communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint SharePoint and Power BI.
Fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written mandatory).
Valid SSG-Entré certificate.
Ability to work on-site in Ludvika.
Nice to Have
Degree in Engineering or related field.
Ideally knowledge or experience with electrical components.
