Job Summary
Role Overview :
We are looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to assist with our daily news compilation process. You will be responsible for gathering relevant news formatting it into our internal templates and providing concise summaries. This is a task-based remote role perfect for someone efficient tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools.
Key Responsibilities
News Compilation: Monitor and collect news articles based on our specific requirements.
Template Formatting: Input data accurately into our template including the headline date and media title.
Summarization: Provide clear summaries by capturing and formatting the first two to three paragraphs of the source article.
Translation: Assist with translating content from different languages into English. You will be expected to utilize tools such as Google Translate or AI-powered translation software to ensure the accuracy of the information.
Workload & Scheduling
Working Hours: The workday starts at either 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM depending on the specific tasks assigned for that day.
Volume: On average one task takes approximately one hour to complete.
Daily Commitment: The typical requirement is 24 hours per day depending on the workload.
Flexibility: As this is a task-based role there is room to increase your hours if you have the capacity to take on multiple tasks.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow formatting instructions precisely.
Comfortable using translation software and AI tools to assist with workflow.
Ability to meet daily deadlines consistently.
Reliable internet connection and basic computer proficiency.
