The Role

• Teaching a broad range of physical activities across KS3 and KS4 specifically focusing on girls PE.

• Delivering theoretical components of GCSE PE or BTEC Sport qualifications.

• Leading and coaching school teams in local and regional competitive fixtures (Netball Football Athletics etc.).

• Planning inclusive lessons that encourage girls of all abilities to lead healthy and active lifestyles.

• Acting as an empowering role model to inspire confidence and participation in female sports.

• Contributing to the schools vibrant extracurricular sports timetable and clubs.

• Engaging in whole-school CPD and the statutory ECT induction sessions and observations.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• A degree in Physical Education Sports Science or a related field.

• A strong personal background in sport and a commitment to extracurricular excellence.

• The ability to build positive relationships with students and act as a professional role model.

• Excellent organisational skills and a high level of energy and enthusiasm for school life.

• A commitment to the schools ethos of Sport for All and holistic student development.
