The Role
Teaching a broad range of physical activities across KS3 and KS4 specifically focusing on girls PE.
Delivering theoretical components of GCSE PE or BTEC Sport qualifications.
Leading and coaching school teams in local and regional competitive fixtures (Netball Football Athletics etc.).
Planning inclusive lessons that encourage girls of all abilities to lead healthy and active lifestyles.
Acting as an empowering role model to inspire confidence and participation in female sports.
Contributing to the schools vibrant extracurricular sports timetable and clubs.
Engaging in whole-school CPD and the statutory ECT induction sessions and observations.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A degree in Physical Education Sports Science or a related field.
A strong personal background in sport and a commitment to extracurricular excellence.
The ability to build positive relationships with students and act as a professional role model.
Excellent organisational skills and a high level of energy and enthusiasm for school life.
A commitment to the schools ethos of Sport for All and holistic student development.
