The Role
Teaching Business Studies across KS4 (GCSE) and KS5 (A-Level/BTEC).
Planning and delivering lessons covering marketing finance operations and entrepreneurship.
Supporting pupils with vocational units coursework and external examination preparation.
Promoting high standards of professional literacy and commercial awareness.
Encouraging independent research and a genuine passion for global markets and economics.
Leading or assisting with enterprise challenges and Young Enterprise initiatives.
Participating in the statutory ECT induction and whole-school professional development sessions.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A degree in Business Economics or a Management-related discipline.
A passion for staying current with economic trends and contemporary business case studies.
The ability to simplify complex financial and commercial concepts for students at all levels.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire aspirational learners.
A professional organised and positive approach to departmental teamwork.
