The Role

• Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4 with the potential for KS5 support depending on experience.

• Planning and delivering lessons that explore tectonic hazards urbanisation climate change and global ecosystems.

• Utilizing GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and digital mapping to enhance student learning.

• Leading and assisting with local fieldwork activities to bring theoretical concepts to life.

• Supporting pupils with GCSE examination preparation and data analysis skills.

• Contributing to the schools eco-committee and environmental sustainability initiatives.

• Engaging in whole-school CPD and the statutory ECT induction sessions and observations.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• A strong degree in Geography or a related Environmental Science discipline.

• A passion for staying current with global affairs and environmental challenges.

• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire diverse learners.
