Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teach Religion Ethics and Philosophy to a high academic standard
Assess monitor and track student progress effectively
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Create a positive and purposeful classroom environment
Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development
Support SMSC PSHE and wider Humanities initiatives across the school
Prepare students successfully for GCSE examinations

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in Religious Studies Theology Philosophy or a related subject
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent subject knowledge in religion ethics and philosophy
A passion for raising achievement and inspiring learners
