Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Teach Religion Ethics and Philosophy to a high academic standard

• Assess monitor and track student progress effectively

• Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development

• Support SMSC PSHE and wider Humanities initiatives across the school

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Religious Studies Theology Philosophy or a related subject

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent subject knowledge in religion ethics and philosophy

• A passion for raising achievement and inspiring learners

• Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
