As a/anRisk Management Collections Strategy Associatein theCollections Pre Charge-off Team (Cards) you drive analytics and risk monitoring that support responsible growth and long-term performance. You will identify performance trends diagnose drivers of change and translate complex insights into clear actionable recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional partners. Youll also help strengthen the risk management framework by ensuring monitoring reporting and process improvements align to established risk parameters and regulatory expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developcomprehensive analytics to measure evaluate and challenge key collections and pre charge-off initiatives
  • Independently generatedata-driven solutions that improve strategy performance and risk outcomes
  • Partnerwith cross-functional teams to assess trends and deliver insights across the collections lifecycle
  • Analyzelarge behavioral datasets using statistical and data mining techniques to uncover patterns and opportunities
  • Performroot cause analysis to explain performance movement and isolate key drivers
  • Translatecomplex findings into practical recommendations with clear business implications and trade-offs
  • Preparedetailed risk monitoring and performance reporting for senior management and key stakeholders
  • Presentinsights and recommendations to multiple levels of management with concise compelling narratives
  • Supportthe development and maintenance of the risk management framework including controls monitoring and documentation
  • Ensurework aligns with regulatory requirements and internal risk standards
  • Monitorinternal/external signals (behavioral data industry trends regulatory changes and best practices) to continuously improve processes

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree or higherin a quantitative discipline (e.g. Finance Statistics Economics Mathematics Operations Research or related field)
  • Minimum 2 years of analytics experience including trend analysis and performance measurement in a business context
  • Demonstrated abilityto logically structure ambiguous problems and execute end-to-end analyses with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiencyusing quantitative methods (e.g. statistical analysis segmentation regression or related techniques) to inform decisions
  • Experienceapplying data mining approaches to large datasets to identify insights and drivers
  • Abilityto translate complex analysis into practical solutions and concise presentations with sound business conclusions
  • Strong communication skills including presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders at varying seniority levels
  • Comfort working independently prioritizing work effectively and making well-reasoned decisions with limited supervision
  • Proven problem-solving skills including conducting root cause analysis and developing actionable recommendations
  • Adaptabilityto learn new tools and technologies quickly and apply them to improve outcomes
  • Results orientation with a track record of delivering measurable impact in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

  • Experience in credit risk collections strategy or consumer lending especially within Cards or unsecured products
  • Working knowledgeof pre charge-off collections workflows performance metrics and loss drivers
  • Advanced analytics toolingexperience (e.g. SQL and/or Python/R; visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI)
  • Experience buildingexecutive-ready monitoring dashboards scorecards or recurring risk reporting routines
  • Familiarity withrisk governance concepts (controls monitoring documentation) and partnering with compliance/legal stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder managementskills including influencing across functions without direct authority
  • Continuous improvement mindset with examples of process enhancements or automation that improved insight delivery or decisioning
