Job Summary
Job Position:Edifecs Developer
Location: LouisevilleKY (Onsite)
Duration:Longterm Contract

An Edifecs Developer works on healthcare data exchange systems mainly dealing with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions healthcare standards and integration solutions using Edifecs tools.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain solutions using Edifecs products like:
XEngine
SpecBuilder
MapBuilder
Transaction Management
Work with healthcare EDI formats such as:
X12 (etc.)
HL7
Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications
Develop and maintain mappings validations and rules for data processing
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure data accuracy
Collaborate with business analysts QA teams and clients
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA)
Required Skills
Strong experience with Edifecs suite tools
Knowledge of EDI standards (X12 HL7)
SQL and database concepts
XML XSLT and data transformation
Java (sometimes required depending on project)
Domain Knowledge
Understanding of healthcare workflows (claims enrollment billing)
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
