Job Summary

Looking for a definitive Principal-level AI Architectural Leader to bridge the gap between human intent and machine execution in a high-stakes regulated financial environment.

The Client is not just adopting AI tools the company rebuilding our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to be AI-native from the ground up.

In this role you wont just write a policy; you will deliver a working development framework with AI in its core.

PRINCIPAL AI-NATIVE ARCHITECT C2H ROLE IN CHICAGO IL OR DALLAS TX

Mode: Hybrid (3 days onsite!)

QUALIFICATIONS:

10 years in Software Engineering and Architecture specifically building frameworks other developers depend on.
The AI Practitioner: You dont just watch demos; you use Claude Code Cursor or GitHub Copilot daily in real complex codebases.
The candidate must have a clear understanding why AI in a brownfield legacy environment is a completely different challenge than a greenfield startup.
Excellent knowledge of Context Engineering Templates.
Experience in financial services particularly regulated environments (SIFMU bank exchange clearinghouse) is strongly preferred.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines automated testing frameworks and quality gate enforcement.
Background in Organizational Change Management - understanding that SDLC transformation is a culture change not a standards document.
Staying current with rapidly evolving AI development practices - demonstrated through conference participation publication or community engagement.
